Weekday Barn Weddings at The Old Wheat Barn

A wedding doesn’t have to fall on a Saturday to feel completely wonderful.

Our weekday barn weddings give you all the warmth, character and countryside charm of The Old Wheat Barn, with a relaxed Monday or Thursday celebration that can help your wedding budget go further.
Set on our family farm and overlooking open fields, the barn is perfect for couples who want their day to feel friendly, informal and full of personality. From your ceremony and wedding breakfast to the speeches, dancing and evening celebrations, everything can take place here in one lovely setting.
Weekday weddings are available on Mondays and Thursdays from May to September, with space for up to 90 seated guests and up to 150 guests for the evening celebration. Larger weddings may also be possible with an additional marquee.
Where will your wedding take place?
Your celebration will be held in The Old Wheat Barn, our beautiful rustic wedding venue here on the family farm.
The barn’s stone walls, original wooden beams, festoon lighting and countryside surroundings create a naturally beautiful backdrop, without the need to make everything feel too formal or overly decorated.
We are fully licensed to hold wedding ceremonies inside the barn. When the weather is kind, you may also be able to say your vows outside on the patio or beneath our wonderful pink chestnut tree.
There is no additional venue charge for holding your ceremony here, although you will need to book and pay the legal fees for your registrars separately.

Your venue hire covers everything you need, from a dedicated wedding planner and trestle tables and pretty whitewashed chairs to toasting prosecco and a fully staffed bar.

How much do Weekday Barn Weddings Cost at The Old Wheat Barn?
Our weekday wedding package is available on Mondays and Thursdays, with a minimum of 50 guests.
Prices vary depending on the year of your wedding, while catering, optional extras and registrar fees are priced separately. Our brochure contains the current venue-hire prices, food choices and all the additional touches you can add to make the day your own.
