Our Signature Weekend Barn Wedding package brings together everything we love about weddings at The Old Wheat Barn: a relaxed countryside setting, homemade food, friendly support and plenty of space to celebrate.
Where will your wedding take place?
Your ceremony, wedding meal and evening reception can all take place at The Old Wheat Barn at The Pink Pig Farm.
The barn is registered for civil marriages and civil partnerships, allowing you to enjoy the whole celebration in one place without asking guests to travel between different venues.
With its stone walls, old wooden beams and warm lighting, the barn already has plenty of natural character. Outside, the farm and surrounding countryside provide a lovely setting for drinks, photographs and those quieter moments together.
(There is no additional venue charge for holding your ceremony here, although you will need to book and pay the legal fees for your registrars separately.)
What’s included in a Weekday Wedding Package?
The Old Wheat Barn can welcome:
Up to 90 guests for your ceremony
Up to 90 guests seated for your wedding meal
Up to 150 guests for the evening reception
Additional evening capacity may be possible by hiring a marquee too. Our Signature Weekend package is designed to make your wedding day feel straightforward, welcoming and well looked after.
So your venue hire covers everything you need, from a dedicated wedding planner and trestle tables and pretty whitewashed chairs to toasting prosecco and a fully staffed bar.

Our Signature Weekend package is a lovely choice for couples who want the ease and familiarity of a Saturday or Sunday wedding.

How much do Signature Weekend Barn Weddings Cost at The Old Wheat Barn?
Our weekend wedding package is available on Saturdays and Sundays from May to September, with a minimum of 50 guests.
Prices vary depending on the year of your wedding, while catering, optional extras and registrar fees are priced separately. Our brochure contains the current venue-hire prices, food choices and all the additional touches you can add to make the day your own.
